Dr. Zainab Muhammad Shuaibu is a specialist in STEM education, teacher professional development, and capacity building, with extensive experience in designing and implementing innovative learning programmes at national and international levels.

She is affiliated with the National Teachers' Institute (NTI), Kaduna, where she has contributed to large-scale teacher training and education reform initiatives across Nigeria.

Her professional engagements include collaborations with international organizations such as the Geoscience Information for Teachers (GIFT) programme under the European Geosciences Union, the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), and global capacity-building initiatives focused on women leadership, blended learning, and educational innovation.

Prof. Benson Banda is Director of the National Science Centre, Ministry of Education, Zambia, and President of Strengthening Mathematics and Science Education in Africa (SMASE-Africa).

His work centers on STEM curriculum development, teacher professional growth, and lesson study, shaping national and regional policy and classroom practices across Africa. He serves as Chief Editor of the Zambia Journal for Teachers' Professional Growth, Zambia STEM Education Journal, and the Journal of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education in Africa.

A prolific researcher, Prof. Banda has published extensively on STEM education, teacher training, and curriculum implementation. His contributions to international education development earned him the JICA President's Award.

Dr. Tom Mboya is a highly accomplished STEM education leader, researcher, and innovator with over 33 years of experience in teacher education, curriculum development, educational leadership, and digital learning transformation. A trained Physics and Mathematics educator, he has served as a high school teacher, deputy principal, university lecturer, National SMASE Physics Trainer, and currently as Assistant Director at the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Kenya, where he oversees Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development (TPAD) and Remote Learning Methodology (RLM).

He is a key contributor to the implementation of Kenya's Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) as both curriculum designer and master trainer. He holds a Doctorate in Education from the Australian Catholic University, Australia, alongside advanced qualifications in Educational Research and Evaluation, and has participated in international professional development programmes in Japan, Israel, Tanzania, and Kenya.

Dr. Mboya is the Founder and Lead of the Kenya National STEM Learning Ecosystem and the Community of Practice for Invention Educators (CoPIE Kenya), championing innovative, inclusive, and technology-driven STEM learning across Africa. Through partnerships with Harvard University's LabXChange, the Royal Academy of Engineering (UK), Nottingham University's Afriscene, and the Lemelson Foundation, he has mobilized support for transformative STEM programmes.

He is widely recognized for pioneering livestreamed lessons, virtual laboratories, robotics and coding competitions, STEM Ambassadors programmes, and community makerspaces aimed at expanding digital inclusion for underserved learners. His mentorship has contributed to teachers receiving prestigious African Union Continental Teacher Awards.
